In their latest work, Dishman + Co. “descend once more into the poverty of [their] materials” (Martin Heidegger), using a long form structure to allow these materials to evolve and lead the work without preconception or forced context, referencing children being let out to play but also the persistence of creativity, the tenacity of beauty, the everness of potential, and the generative nature of the body, which is to say, we are going and we will not stop.
Performed by Leah Ives, Joshua Reaver and Myssi Robinson.
Also on this program:
Attraverso, performed by Leah Ives, Julia Jurgilewicz and Julie Seal
Visitation, a video work performed by Julie Seal, with Larissa Asebedo and Corinne Shearer
