Abigail Linnemeyer

Abigail grew up in New York and she graduated from Muhlenberg College in 2020 where she received her bachelor of arts in dance (performance & choreography) and business (arts administration). She has a passion for improvisation, partner work, and her queer identity inspires her desire for queerness in dance spaces and her focus on gender in process and performance. Most recently, she has presented her work at American Dance Festival, and Koresh Dance Come Together Dance Festival, American College Dance Association, and the Craft NY. This past year Abigail was located in Philadelphia where she worked on projects with Natalie Gotter, Grounded Aerial under Karen Fuhrman, Freespace Dance, and was in Fellowship with TRPNYC under Johnnie Mercer. She recently relocated to Brooklyn and is excited to embark on a new artistic journey.


Alisya Razman

Alisya is a freelance artist living in Brooklyn, NY. She is currently a performer with UNA Productions and is assisting in their new commission for The Ailey School's BFA Program. She co-founded WHY NOT HERE?, a site-specific movement workshop, in Kuala Lumpur. Her performance credits include Bill T.Jones/Arnie Zane Company, Merce Cunnigham, Andrea Miller, Jose Limon and Christina Robson. She recently participated as a dancer in The Delicate Power Project Research Lab for Helen Simoneau Danse. Alisya is a graduate from NYU Tisch School of the Arts.


Allison Costa

Allison Costa (she/they) is a dancer, creative technologist, and multi-media artist based in New York City. Her interdisciplinary practice is process-focused and collaborative, as it embraces tenets of emergent strategy, glitch feminism, and the risk/recovery practice of improvisation. Allison graduated with a double major in Dance and Computer Science from Barnard College of Columbia University. She is currently Artist-in-Residence at Barnard’s Movement Lab, a dance/tech space, while also working as both a freelance dancer and creative technologist. Alyssa Markowitz

Alyssa Faye is a freelance choreographer/dance artist based in Brooklyn, NY. She graduated from The Boston Conservatory in 2018, where she received a BFA in Contemporary Dance. Upon moving to New York, she performed with Haus of Pvmnt and choreographer Abigail Corrigan at venues such as Triskelion Arts, Hudson Guild Theater, and WaxWorks. Her most recent choreographic work has been showcased throughout 2019 at Uptown Rising Dance Festival, WaxWorks, APEX at Peridance, and Dumbo Dance Festival. She has also choreographed and produced two works for The Boston Conservatory mainstage, and participated in collaborative projects around the Boston area.


Andie Knudson

Andie Knudson (she/her) is a movement artist, videographer, choreographer, and dance educator currently based in Atlanta, GA. Andie received her BFA in Dance from Belhaven University where she began to refine her interests of improvisation, education, and dance film. As a movement artist, Andie has had the honor of performing the works of Bill T. Jones, Steve Rooks of Martha Graham Dance Company, and George Staib along with studying Contract Improvisation under Nancy Stark Smith. A lover of questions and curiosity, Andie is passionate about fostering environments of creative freedom and healing in all she does. 


Andrew Collins

Andrew Collins (he, him) is a queer choreographer and artist living on currently occupied Lenape lands known as Brooklyn. He has a BFA in Dance and minor in Theater Performance from the University of Florida. His work has been shown at the American Collegiate Dance Association’s Southern Conference 2019, Moving Current Dance Festival and Contemporary Dance Choreography Festival. Currently he dances with DanceKerr and Dancers in New York City and is working on producing a debut evening length showcase by the end of 2022. He is excited to groove and wiggle with other artists together in space again for this Elizabeth Dishman Co+Life Workshop!


Anne Marie Robson Smock

Anne Marie Robson Smock is a Brooklyn-based choreographer, performer, and dance educator. She received her MFA in Dance from NYU Tisch School of the Arts while simultaneously earning her MA in Dance Education from NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Human Development. Originally from Salt Lake City, she holds a BFA in Modern Dance from the University of Utah. Annie is currently adjunct faculty at NYU Steinhardt and working towards her Dance/Movement Therapy certification at the 92Y Harkness Dance Center. Her latest creative pursuit is crocheting baby blankets, very slowly.


Hannah Franz

Hannah Franz is a dancer/choreographer from Long Island, NY, whose love for performing/creating gives her deep joy and purpose. Franz holds a BFA(dance; magna cum laude) from Adelphi University, where she performed many works, including pieces by Paul Taylor and Lar Lubovitch. Before graduating(2018), she studied abroad at London Contemporary Dance School and completed an internship with GALLIM. Professionally, Franz has danced with Douglas and Co., JKing Dance Company, Ji Hee Lee and Yoo and Dancers, as well as various freelance projects. Most recently, Franz presented original works at both The Craft: May 2021, and Adelphi University's 2021 Fall Arts Festival.


Heather Dutton

Heather Dutton is a Brooklyn based dancer, choreographer, and dance educator. She earned her B.A. in Dance (choreography & education) from Muhlenberg College. The past year, Heather has worked as a freelance dance artist in Philly & NYC with choreographers including Donna Scro, Megan Flynn, Stephanie Tolbert-King, Natalie Gotter, and Karen Fuhrman. She has presented her choreographic works at the Koresh Come Together Dance Festival, The Craft NYC, the American College Dance Association, and the American Dance Festival. Her choreography utilizes theatrical and comedic devices to explore themes of connection, queerness, and the human experience. She also works as a teaching artist with the National Dance Institute, through which she has the opportunity to bring dance education into NYC public schools.


Jamie Kleinschnitz

Jamie Kleinschnitz (she/her) is a freelance artist, performer, choreographer, and dance instructor based in NYC. Originally from Long Island, NY, she received her Bachelor’s in Fine Arts from Adelphi University with a major in dance, and studied abroad at the London Contemporary Dance School in the UK. Jamie has been a movement artist with Mathew James’ Urban / Tribe, Valeria Gonzalez’s VALLETO Dance, John Zullo’s Zullo/Raw Movement, Emily Greenwell’s Cloude.nyc, and Rudy Abreu’s Radiance. She is humbled and excited for the opportunity to share space with other artists for Dishman+Co’s inaugural Co+Life workshop!


Jenna Hanlon

A native of Rochester NY, Jenna Hanlon graduated Summa Cum Laude from Slippery Rock University with a BA in Dance and a minor in Technical Theater. Jenna balances 3 careers as a professional Modern/Contemporary Artist, Theater Technician and Postural Alignment Therapist with The Egoscue Method. Jenna draws inspiration from her acts of daily living; grounding down like earth, rising with the tides and free falling with the wind. With early roots as a competitive gymnast, Jenna is now an active yogi, movement artist and adrenaline junkie.


Jessy Crist

Jessy Crist, from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania began dancing at the Capital Area School for the Arts. She graduated Cum Laude with a BFA in Dance Performance from Montclair State University in 2019. Jessy has performed in works by Winston Dynamite Brown, Martha Graham, Bill T. Jones, Shapiro and Smith, Christian Von Howard and Robyn Mineko-Williams. Crist was a scholarship student at American Dance Festival, the Hubbard Street Chicago Intensive, and Dark Circles Contemporary Company. Jessica has performed professionally with The Dynamite Experience, and VOID Movement Project. Jessy is currently a freelance artist in New York, creating her own work in collaboration with multimedia artists. Her Most recent creations/collaborations include G Y P S U M, an experimental dance film exploring stored trauma in the feminine body.


Katerina Belmatch

Katerina Belmatch (she/they) has just recently graduated from SUNY Purchase College with a BFA in dance. They are a dance and visual artist artist located in NYC. Katerina is inspired by improvisation, voice, site-specific, and task-based movement. Lastly, she also works with painting, drawing, and video to express herself.


Kayla White

Kayla White (she/her) is a Brooklyn based movement artist. Her current artistic interests include resilience in softening and expansive empathy. Recent credits include Charles O. Anderson/Dance Theatre X’s “(Re)Current Unrest” as well as works by Rena Butler, Jenn Freeman, and Gesel Mason. She is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin receiving her BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography.


Lydia Perakis

Lydia Perakis (she/her) is a Greek, New York based artist who engages with different areas of performance, movement making, education and arts administration. She creates multi-disciplinary works that engage primarily with movement, utilize spoken text, set incorporation and multimedia. Her training includes acquiring a BFA in Dance and a Minor in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Studies from NYU-Tisch School of the Arts. Her work has been presented in venues such as the Danspace Project, Green Space, Jennifer Muller/The Works Studio, SMUSH gallery, Gelsey Kirkland Arts Center, Bridge for Dance and Threes @ Franklin + Kent. In addition, she works as a dance educator via the educational platform of Outschool and is a staff member at New York Live Arts, the Center for Performance Research and the Soho Playhouse.


Marisa Clementi

Marisa Clementi is a mover, maker, and musician who is curious about the ways rhythm and melody shape identity. Her artistic practice layers pop, postmodern, and flamenco traditions with plant medicine, writing, illustration, and roomscaping. She regularly collaborates with Storm Thomas/ Theater but Dance, as well as Tatyana Tenenbaum. She’s also performed in works by Laura Dean, Martha Graham, Rashaun Mitchell, Yvonne Rainer, Will Rawls, and Miguel Gutierrez. Marisa earned her MFA in Dance from Sarah Lawrence and BA in Music from Dartmouth College.


Natalie Cantalino

Originally from Detroit, MI, Natalie graduated in 2019 from Wayne State University with her BFA in Dance. She is a fitness professional and a freelance contemporary dancer who is passionate about connecting with others through the physical embodiment of emotion. Within her time in NYC, she has worked with Disney, Pilobolus, Steps on Broadway, and more.


Nisani Lopez

Nisani Lopez (she/her/hers) is a Caribbean-American dancer and movement creator from the New York Metro-Area.  She graduated from The George Washington University in 2020, with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Dance.  There, she explored the endless bounds of how bodies interact with space and their influence on the quality and production of movement. When approaching choreography, she explores new and unknown possibilities while expanding her understanding of dance origin, history and culture.  Nisani also has a love for mixed media.  From music composition to filmmaking, she has a natural curiosity for artistic nuance. Currently, she is a freelance dancer, creator and curator.  Nisani dreams of touring on a global level to both create and perform work with others, sharpening her ability to speak and share the international language of movement.
